Crisis Management

Protecting Your Business.

Cal/OSHA regulations mandate that an incident causing serious injury, illness or death of an employee be immediately reported to the nearest Cal/OSHA enforcement office.

When a workplace safety incident occurs, events will pressure you to make split second decisions that will have long lasting impact. Every decision you make in a crisis, and decisions that should have been made but were not, may have profound and long lasting financial and legal consequences for your business and you.

As an employer, your business is subject, at a minimum, to Cal/OSHA citation liability, workers’ compensation regulation, civil liability claims, and potential criminal liability. Creating an attorney/client relationship with The Prince Firm protects your communications with the lawyers of The Prince Firm and puts an experienced advisor at your side to evaluate the legal threats you face, and to implement a plan that minimizes the risk to your business and yourself.

Part of that plan may include an investigation of the incident, including interviews of parties and witnesses conducted by investigators and experts hired by The Prince Firm on your behalf which will be protected from disclosure by the attorney work-product privilege. Another part of that plan may focus on the existence of insurance policies that may afford coverage for the loss, and appropriate notifications to trigger your right to a legal defense or indemnity from a carrier.

If you have suffered a workplace safety incident, and need immediate legal representation, we welcome you to contact us for more information about our services and how we may be of assistance to you in this difficult time.
